overwintering Would this work for overwintering

Hi all, Got four plants I am wanting to over winter in Michigan but I need to ask if my idea would work. So I am a little worried about bringing them into the house and bringing bugs in. They are already potted and while they are fruit bearing they arent huge. My idea is to bring them into...

Best time of the year to order seeds?

I do some seed swapping here but usually I go through rare seeds/baker creek for most everything not just peppers. Ive had great luck with them!

    Are these a chocolate variety?

Fantastic! I was worried they had some sort of illness but the plant looks way too good for that I thought (correctly too apparently).

Best time of the year to order seeds?

I ordered in December last year but I think I’ll order earlier this year with everything that’s going on. If I had to guess peppers might be a little safer from panic buying than say corn or onions though.

    Are these a chocolate variety?

My girlfriend works at a green house and she gave me a few plants that we going to be thrown away. The habanero plant appears healthy and is producing a lot of fruit, but they turn from green to brown, no colors in between. I havent ate one yet but Im wondering if it was a chocolate variation...

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

Well it's time to transplant I think, from left to right it's the Lemon Drop and two Fresnos, nond of the Starfish or Reapers ended up sprouting. Do any of you have soil recommendations that I can get at a big box store?

    Whats up with this tomato?

I can't tell what's going on here, I thought it was mildew but it's not powdery, the undersides of the leafs are purple. It appeared in a day but the plant is still growing and shooting out new leafs. I assume it's some sort of nutrient issue but how do I treat it? None of the other plants show...

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

I haven't given up! I restarted with a new method and approach, I've went to the solo cup method. I keep the soil moist from the top until the seedling pokes its head up, then I switch to bottom watering to make the roots reach for the water and occasionally (every other day) give the plant it's...

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

Well two of the Starfish didn't recover from HH but one is looking good still also had a Fresno die without warning today. So we got two living plants now, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

UPDATE 3/11: We have life again! 2 of 3 Fresnos are up and all the Brazilian Starfish are up, they shot up yesterday when I was working, luckily they aren't leggy like the tomateos were since I got light to them quickly. One thing I noticed with the Starfish is that the seed it's self is on...

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

RESTART 3/5: Well seeing as the plants from before I feel were very much dead I restarted yesterday. This time around I have 3 seeds each of the Carolina Reaper, Lemon Drop, Fresno and Brazilian Starfish. I used the last three Reaper seeds and don't have many of the other left. I've opted to...

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

Upon further investigation they were over watered with a weak vinegar mixture I had in another spray bottle (across the room) so I assume they won't come back from that. In the hours after I made the post the last healthy plant keeled over flat and the seedlings look like straw. Looks like a...

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

I looked over the symptoms of damping off and they match spot on. Is this entire plot a loss?

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

They got much worse over night. The two leggy tomatoes leafs started to wilt and the shorter of them started to knell over as well. The Fresnos look worse and the Lemon Drops I think are dead the green in them is gone. I have the tomatoes propped up with tooth picks, I don't know if anything is...

Lemon Drops, Reaper and Habenro tree glog

SOS 3/3: So I had to leave two for a few days and I left the plants in my moms care and that hasn't worked out well. First off the light got knocked on to them (it was only for a few seconds it wasn't left on them), that's why the tomatoes are bent over, I don't see and breaks on the stalk so...
