  Perhaps. But the reason I didn't think so was that I definitely did not water it too much last time I had it indoor. I have this pepper plant which I acquired roughly half a year ago. I planted it in a pot, put it in a window facing south and watered it regularly - but no matter what I did it looked worse every day. After a month or two I almost gave up and just put it outside on my terrasse (still in the pot)...
