No other plants were affected. And I just ended up killing the few affected plants, as I had plenty in reserve.   I did look under a microscope, I saw nothing unusual, but I didn't spend a lot of time looking at the leaf.

            I had similar issues with a few Brazilian starfish from Pepperlover.   Several plants in same cup, only a few showed these traits.  No signs of mites or any other pests. Had not been fertilizing. And seriously, the same variety in the same cup showed no issues. So my bet lies on...

Just curious for advice: What is a simple and sufficient way to prepare plants for outside conditions, and how to know when it is correct to do so? What should the outside temperatures be? Will sunburn hurt the plant significantly, or only stunt it shortly?     I took a bit of a risk, and tossed...

Got no picture yet - but several of my plants got the exact same thing, the very day I put them outside without ANY hardening off.   So +10000 for sunburn.   Hoping it isnt a big issue, and I'm pretty sure it is not.

So weather here has become a lot better - basically no night temps below 5 celsius.   I have no issue with sunburning my peppers - they are well adjusted, and I have several half-shade spots I can put them outside. The big issue is the bloody wind.   How do I prepare them for the wind? Stakes...

Soaked seeds in weak camomille tea solution for 24 hours. Put seeds in moist/wet soil in cups, covered them in foil and put them in a room at 26 celsius. Works fine, very high germination rate, most up within a week.

ok so an update.   Took a few damaged new leaves of the Brazilian starfish, and stuck them under a microscope. Notice I removed the leaves AFTER a 10-15min soaking in ~45 degrees (which was how I found to kill potential broad mites).     Saw nothing moving. Noticed these.. oval/elongated opague...
