I read up about how to ferment my own fish emulsion and seaweed etc... I read this site..  http://theunconventionalfarmer.com/recipes/fish-fertilizer/ and very happy with my results... First ever hot pepper harvest or 1/3rd of it thus far this year..  

    I had no idea I was growing reapers so far this year but apparently I am!...I thought the plant was a trinidad scorpion but it is what it is I guess!   

Women like flowers so stick some plastic roses or plastic geraniums in every other pot...She will love them then.. Been there...Done that.

Another thanks to Blister for sending me some of these to me here in the R.P.. Who knows,I may be the first to grow em over here.. Great forum this!  

When I bought the plant in OP ,it was very puny with two pods on it..I planted the seeds from those pods. Starting to get new pods now and I guess it aint growing true...No Pumpkin features at all right now and flower is different..Bit disappointing but interested to see what they are when they...

  Thanks..Im growing it in a plastic laundry basket lined with fine netting for the air pruning thing..  For me,it works real good.

Thanks again for all the helpful comments.. As Promised a couple of Pics... Taken today.. Taste is as sweet as my orange Habs but with less heat..I`d say 38,000 SHU is about right..The heat does build a little though and lingers!! Good tasting pepper IMO.       I`m happy with the Thai pepper...

Just remember..When I bought the plant the guy said he thought they were from Thailand so Thai pumpkin pepper 38,000 SHU looks like front runner to me as it stands..Its an Annum too..   Chilli, Thai Pumpkin chilli, Capsicum annum, Red coloured capsicum growing on the plant.- Common name...

  What is  Phillipean? If you mean species well known in the R.P,what are they?? Very few hot peppers here that I know of which is still a bit of a mystery to me given the climate.

Just looked that up..Quite a few plants on Google under "Brazilian starfish" but some plants have distictly different looking leaves.. This one looks damned close though..

  Why?? Could it be an unidentifiable hybrid?...Pretty much a noob grower so forgive the question.. learning as I go..   Some more Pics taken this morning.    

  That was 3 months ago so cant really remember ..Tasted Ok from memory with some heat. I`ll wait for these to turn red and give a taste review.. I`ll take some more pics after Xmas. Cheers, Fred.
