1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 6oz bottle of Texas Pete hotsauce (not franks's not Louisiana, not crystal)
1 teaspoon black pepper
at least 1 teaspoon salt, but add to taste
