Hopefully my seeds will be here at the start of the week and i'll be into it. i didn't really have a clue on what would be heavy croppers so i just choose a couple that look good. I've got Jayboc, sugar rush cream, Corno di Toro Rosso, Klavo peach,7 Primo Hybrid AKA ‘THE GOD STOPPER!', Bad...
i have been a bit lazy with supporting my plant and finally got around to tying it up. its has to be 2m tall now and absolutely loaded with pods. like Bob it has really cooled off in North east victoria and we almost had a frost the other morning. I'm just hoping to get another nice pick off of...
These are a comparison of the plant i originally chose. the small heat effected chilli's and my other plant. much healthier pods.
considering i have about 15grams off of my original plant if there are no objections i will start using pods from my other plant. these are the first mature pods...
Finally another weigh in. I chose the wrong plant. this was my strongest plant but its in a pot. one of the smaller Citos i planted in the garden and forgot about is smashing it. Twice the size. Still not producing as many pods many of your plants though.
Its been a long time between picking, i had to go back 4 pages to find my original post. Only 3 more picked but the up side is there are plenty of pods on the plant.
3 pods. 11 grams for a sad total of 14g.

Its still growing well at the moment with a lot of new shoots and extension of the...
This is my Sad total at the moment. my plant has been in a growth spurt and dropped a heap of green pods and now i only have half a dozen green pods on the plant. Hopefully all this extra growth will make up for it later in the summer.
I picked the first chilli for the season. It didnt even weigh 1 gram. i was devastated so i decided to eat it. they have a little zing too them.
(sorry for the crap photo)
I had the same thoughts as you and couldnt find something i wanted, thats why i went the dodgy home made Bamboo and cable tie support. im a sparky there isnt a job you cant get done if you have electrical tape and cable tie's.
Thats a fair old pile of chilli's there Karoo. The weather has finally warmed up a bit and all my plants have picked up their game a bit.
i have my first pod changing color and plenty of new flowers now after a few warm days.
