As a follow up I let the peppers ferment on the counter for 1156 days. I put the peppers and juice in the Ninja blender and blended it mutiple times throughout the day. Next I poured it through a double layer of cheese cloth and then pressed the cheese cloth and maybe got 1/4 cup of seeds and...
I don't do hydropinics other than starting plants then into self watering 5 gallon buckets. Once the buds start to appear I am a fan if misting with epsom salt solution every other week. I use 1 table spoon per galon then put in a spray bottle and mist the leaves top and bottom. Seems to help...
Out of the 4 reapers I planted 3 sprouted within a week or so of one another and the 4th was two or 3 weeks later. I actually forgot about it and then one day I saw the sprout. This sprout looks good but is soooo slow growing the others are 10x the size. All the seed were from last years harvest.
Personally I'm a big fan of topping pepper plants so they are more bushy, not tall gangly and prone to breakage. Also the energy can go into developing the fruit and not growing long branches.
Reapers at around the 50 day mark started from seed in the Aerogarden,
3 weeks later:
Plant in the 1st pic was newly topped on 3/7/20. Same plant 3 days later on 3/10/202
Plant is really starting to rebound with lots of new growth.
I'll tell you the 1st time you break out the scissors to top a plant it was hard to do. You feel like you are damaging the plant by cutting back...
Transplanted the 2 larger lants today into 5 gallon self watering buckets.
1st pic is the root mass. I used a pair of tin snips to cut off the plastic cages that held the plant in the aerogarden. Cut the care on 2 side a and it opens right up and pulls away from the root mass.
2nd and 3rd...
