i picked a green one last night and cut some small pieces off, wow what a good pepper, it had an initial burst of heat then rolled down the throat and lasted about 15 minutes.. mmmm good stuff

thanks guys, my brother inlaw turned me onto this site after giving me the seeds he got from someone on here.

I have two of these going they are about a 10" high and are flowering with two small peppers starting. My question is when should I pick, what color should they be? Also my google searching hasn't given me a good picture, if anybody can provide a pic of a ripe pepper please do.:oops:

so i've had one of the mystery peppers and it was hot. cut just a little slice off a green one and it was a spicy burn that was felt all the way down, not for an amature. todd enjoyed it as well. thanks alot i can't wait for my scorpions to ripen, which do you let it change and to what color...

i must say raw is the only way to go with jalapenos, i hope this reaches you since it is the first post i've ever done!!!
