I just order Murasaki Purple Pepper to grow on the right side of the tent. It will be a little behind the others by the time it gets planted but that's ok.

Banana peppers always seem to have the earliest and most harvest for me each year.   Here is the first harvest from my one outdoor banana pepper. Left all the small ones on the plant. The biggest one is 6" long :dance:  

Your right the lights are expensive but worth it imho

Thanks for the tip about big jim. Mine still haven't sprouted.   Unfortunately I don't know if the pepperoncini will stay purple or not. The other one which is in a bigger pot is not purple. So it's perplexing

The Golden Marconi and 3 gal Pepperoncini have sprouted now all that is left is Big Jim pepper.
