    glog Blue Peppers

Anyone I guess? Not sure if it is illegal to go pick a couple berries logally and then start to grow more and then after the first year or two start to share seeds.. Edit. Maybe ask the local ruler for permission.

@HerbCasa It may cross with other wild cultivars that are close to it. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/346046831_An_amazing_new_Capsicum_Solanaceae_species_from_the_Andean-Amazonian_Piedmont

indoor-growing Question about buying and using indoor led lights.

I have this ENFUN LM301B & Meanwell Driver. It's made in China. Build quality is decent and not too expensive: https://www.amazon.com/EnFun-Updated-EF-2000-Compatible-Hydroponic/dp/B08C7DYMR9/ Latest LEDs are LM301H but they are more expensive. B model worth every penny! If you grow indoors...

seeds-germination Tips for Germinating 20-Year Old Seed?

It always gets problematic when germination time is over two weeks. You can try with a few seeds first. What is Happy Frog soil? Is it compost soil?

seeds-germination Tips for Germinating 20-Year Old Seed?

Seeds soaked in hydrogen peroxide and a clean box with paper towels for the seeds. Then wait for germination :)

pubescens Hottest Capsicum pubescens ?? anyone know ??

Hottest pube I found was Rocoto Peru Cusco: https://chiliwiki-fi.translate.goog/index.php?title=Rocoto_Peru_Cusco&_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=fi&_x_tr_pto=wapp I didn't find any information for the Cusco Red sadly. But that 250K SHU is misinformation.

    indoor-growing Light distance from seedlings?

I think all can be in the same light but others get easier rolled leaves than others. But there are many things that may make it happen. Firstly the plant gets too much light, the root revoplement is not big enough to handle the light. Secondly, if the container is not too big it gets dried too...

    indoor-growing Light distance from seedlings?

Here is a good video for explaining how much they need approx. But every chilli variety has its own needs. Some can utilize more light than others and can't take that much.

heat Is SHU scale logoritmic or linear? Experts, please....

I think that 2.65M SHU is max heat. Not average heat. So Pepper X's average hotness would be approx 1.968M SHU. But I don't get it. Where did he get that three times hotter than Reaper? It's just only 20% higher than Carolina Reaper.

misc Aji Panca vrs. Chili Chalaca?

If you can find CGN 23209 seeds I prefer that over the Aji Panca. CGN is hairier, bigger flowers, taste is very similar but I favor CGN taste. Panca is more sour. CGN has a slightly cleaner aroma. Also pods have some differency. Left is CGN, right is Panca

seeds-germination How do you manage your seed collections?

I'm a lazy guy. I have one bigger freezer bag, smaller freezer bags inside it, to contain each variety and lastly small zip bags with specific traits. Don't take too much space. Seeds are viable for maybe ten years.
