I first learned to love wild capsicums when I was a botany major at Miami University back in the mid 80s. The guy who ran our department was a pepper expert named Dr. Hardy Eshbaugh and he filled our greenhouse with scraggly exotic pepper plants that always looked like they needed water. I have grown them ever since! Plenty of water, too.
