    Essegi 2020: lol!

That's ridiculous, Scott. Try making an sourdough starter, it only takes about a week or 2 to get a strong starter and then you're set for life with your own natural yeast :) (mine is almost "5 years" old) I've been baking mostly sourdough these days, only use dry yeast for sweet breads. I...

    Essegi 2020: lol!

It's also quite hard to work dough that wet   Try to make the dough in the evening, bulk proof and let it rest in a container in the fridge or put it in the fridge after shaping and putting it in the basket. The cold ferment really adds a lot of flavour. I normally do that, makes time...

    Essegi 2020: lol!

If you want bigger holes you have to use an higher hydration, at least 80% or higher. I normally bake around 70% hydration, don't want the holes to big for the butter ;) Overall great pics, keep it up!

    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

I've cleared about 60% of my polytunnel and Fall has really kicked in now with low temps and loads of rain. When I got time I will clear out the rest asap, like I said most have a couple of ripe pods.   MFPJ37 #2#2 F-4 yes another BBG7 white variety of mine, I call this one "Bubble Bhut White"...

    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

It sure has Scott, luckily I will be able to harvest a decent amount of ripe pods from most of my plants so I have seedstock for the next generations. In the end that's all what matters to me at this moment.   LOL at your search

    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

Thanks Paul, happy they're in the soil. Always quite the effort to get them in, not my favorite part :P   Don't worry, John. Got it covered but thanks :) That's why I put up the shade cloths for the tomatoes as they suffer from flower drop when exposed to these high temps/sun. Seems to work well...

    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

Been a while peeps but wasn't much to show yet. Peppers are in for about 10 days now and seems to have rooted. Still will be a while till I have pods to show but for now, here's this year's setup.     Temps were pretty low for the time of the year until early June so the tomatoes didn't produce...

    Meatfreak's 2019 Grow

Good to see you to, Fab! Best to you and fam as well. You growing any peppers this year?   As I said before, life's hectic so photo shots are rare but the seedlings have started to grow faster now so here's some overview from my Chinense (inside). Annuum are in the poly and the test to...
