Just make sure roots are covered. Shallow is ok as long as covered roots. New soil would be best, but matters not. No fertilizer untill you get a few leaves. GOOD LUCK

I'd say you can add some perlite into your mix.
I have some seeds on paper towel, and moved them to solo cups right after they germinate. I think is less hurting.

Well, I decided to stick with Biobizz Light-Mix, which is a good soil mix. At the moment, I'm not ready for coconut, with its constant stress and physiological changes in plants. Once I get the hang of it, I'll start growing a couple of plants on coconut to stabilize the process. But for now, it's soil only!
I would greatly appreciate your advice and criticism. I have only recently begun to study and develop as a breeder and, in general, as a pepper grower. If you have any questions or advice, once again, I would be very grateful!
Hi! This blog is about my pepper breeding project. First goal: a lemon-flavoured, chocolate-coloured chili. To reduce epistasis and polygenicity
I’m using three crosses:
1) KS Lemon Starrburst × Chocolate Habanero
2) KS Lemon Starrburst × 7 Pot Douglah
3) Aji Lemon Drop × Sugar Rush Stripey.

I’m a beginner, so any advice or criticism is very welcome!
only 26 day's to sowing!!!!!
Who remembers the first hot sauce craze when Dave's Insanity sauce first launched? What year was it? I'm thinking mid 90s...
