Purple Thunder showing some signs of life! Looking forward to seeing these mid season!

Been a little bit since last update, didn’t have anything really major. Got the soil mixed up today 50/50 last years soil / new compost, 1:3 ratio of manure and added some rice hulls instead of perlite. And finally got some of the plants going in their final containers!! All of the Rocotos...

And here we go! Have 3 other hooks barely poking through, hopefully all of them pop up they have their own little section of the yard all to themselves!

If it sounds good to me I go with it. Get some good ones, get some bad ones.

More moving up from the start trays, these were started in my aerogarden. I personally will never do it again, I had crap germination and wasted a bunch of seeds. The only upside to it is they dwarf the others started in soil at the same time. Rocotos are moved on outside into the greenhouse...

Everything is coming along nicely! Rocotos will be moved to the greenhouse this weekend, possibly final pots or just to 1gal containers for now.

Almost, it’s just one large open dome. Nothing individual for the spots.

Haven’t used it yet we’ve had it for a year and I forgot about it, so figured great time to use it is now.

It’s the Aerogarden with the seed starting deck. The plastic is from the box it was shipped in. I’ll take a picture with it off later on today.

This sounds amazing, might have to dig in my freezer later today and make some.

Rocotos movin on up! Need to restart 3 varieties cause I didn’t notice the soil I planted them in until after the fact, but still got some great germination. Looking forward to sauces and stuffing these over the summer.

Off to a great start for 2022! I want to say it was a week exactly or around there from when I showed these. Highly looking forward to both of these, and the Growdown Throwdown.

Got 2 out of 8 up and one poking through, fingers crossed 3 more out of the 5 left come up. The back 2 were cracked but there is always a chance!
