breeding Crossing Pubescens with Baccatum by using Eximium as bridge?

Fruxim was a hybrid going around a few years ago, supposed to be frutescens x eximium. It's not, as there are zero eximium traits in it.    Eximium will cross with pubescens and cardenasii. I've had both crosses and both are fertile and easy to make. Cardenasii will preferentially cross with...

Sorry for disappearing, I'm starting my own vintage guitar repair/restoration business and the legal crap is driving me nuts, plus I'm snowed under with old guitars. Ah well!   My PM box is now empty (last messages, 2016  ).    Hope everyone is having a good season. I'm only growing...

You got it. I've done quite a few recently and changed careers to be a full time luthier. I trained at a well known repair shop, then left to set up my own shop last year,  specialising in vintage instruments. Current highlights for restoration include; 1850 Ashborn, 1867 Martin, 1924 Martin...

Ok friends and colleagues, I guess I'm back. I`ll pause for all the blaspheming and puking at this point.................   After a few years of life getting in the way, I will be doing more reviews later this summer. I have a number lined up that I expect to light me up like Christmas at...

Honestly, Chris Phillips is the man I trust. He's grown more varieties than God and is a downright splendid fellow. Cmpman1973 on here

Peppers that maintain/increase productivity in cooler weather?

Capsicum flexuosum. I grow it in winter, which is SoCal isn't really winter, but you know what I mean. I'm pretty sure I could naturalise it here, if I wanted to.    Other than that, you have things covered, pubescens especially, which I also grow in winter for a crop in April.

    chinense mild Capsicum chinense peppers

Hahahahahaha, Just call me Rip Van Winckle.   Things have been, errrr, interesting? What is it people say, "I hope we live in interesting times." Well, my times have been a little too interesting for my liking. I haven't grown much for a couple of years, but they don't let you garden in...

Aji jobito, hands down, no comparison.   Originally from Venezuela, now grown by a plenty of folks in the USA. Tom Broome has a ton of them right now.

    Rarest Pepper?

Nigel who???    Where to start. As Prod John said, C.tovarii used to be very rare in the hobby, but it`s available now, if you know where to look. They are bugger to germinate, though. My personal favourite is C.lanceolatum. It`s also the most difficult Capsicum I`ve ever tried to grow and was...

One of my favourites - CGN 23255

Very few indeed, Tom. There is a hybrid going around that also shows this trait and has mini bhut-like pods. Moranga hybrid or something alone those lines. Comes in green or dark plants and red or peach pods. Jim Duffy sold plants last season and it was created by Jes Christensen in Denmark...
