Update time! Been busy with work, but had some time today to harvest some ripe peppers and process them. Took off 1 kg of gnarly leviathan scorpions from my hydro plant. Still heaps on the plant too. Half a kilo of sugar rush peach. Still a couple of kilos worth on the plant. Thai dragon...

Thanks! Very glad I don't have to deal with the weather you do. It gets pretty hot here, but I can deal with that.

I'm going for the simple old "bigger is better"! Have a couple of phenos I like still on the plant, will put up some photos when they are ready.

Quick update. Pulled about a third of the leviathan gnarly scorpions off my hydro plant today. Will save the good phenos for seed stock and dehydrate the rest for powder. Was about 500g.

Today, an update on my in-ground plants. My other leviathan gnarly scorpion looks completely different to my hydro one. I'm not sure it's the right pheno as it's very pale green, almost like a lot of peach varieties start out, but the shape is cool. Bishops crowns are massive and are...

Update time! Been a little while... Weather has been hot here. 40c yesterday and 43c today. Plants are going well. Will have to take some photos of my in ground plants tomorrow as they a bit wilted at the moment. Soil grow Padron. Looking good, but they are bigger than I thought they would...

It is a ground cover, Tradescantia spathacea, or moses-in-the-cradle. Spreads quick, does flower, but snails love it... With the exception of the chilli plants, our front garden has a bit of a tropical vibe going on

Quickly learning that baccatums are maybe not for my small hydro space! The sugar rush peach long is getting a bit crazy. Might be getting close to time for a haircut. Kratky podzilla choc x settling in now and putting out some nice pods. I am pretty excited to see what my favourite...

Bit of an update... Weather is still great, above 30C almost every day. The plants are loving it, but the hydro ones are going through a fair bit of water. I haven't been doing much with them. For me this is the waiting stage until I get some ripe pods to process, which won't be far away now...

Thanks guys. Happy with progress so far. I have been thinking about constructing an experiment with a new hydro system for my late starts. I agree with others that seem to think the smaller pot size may lead to fruiting sooner as well, but obviously not the same volume. I want to start...

Bit of an update... Weather has been great, 33C almost everyday for a week now. My hydro plants are sucking up the water as they start to flower and fruit pretty heavily. Padron in container with potting mix Giant choc ghost in air pot with potting mix Giant choc ghost in hydro a bit...

    Reaper problems again

I don't think you will get an equivalent. They limit phosphorus in Australia. Not sure who says to use 10-10-10, but most of what I see on here and what I do with my plants is lower nitrogen and smaller amounts more often. For my in-ground plants I use a layer of compost and then a good mulch...
