  • Hi again Craig,

You are insanely generous. I was just happy that you were giving me your scorpion plant...the rest was crazy! I was embarrassed by the riches. I wound up cutting that whole top section off the plant. It was too top heavy for the pot and really, too much plant for the roots to nourish. I'll also mention that your salsa is great! It seemed quite sweet as you had said. Was that all from the habaneros? Perfect heat level, in my opinion.

Again, I thank you for your generosity. It was nice seeing you again.

    Regards,
    Sheldon
    Hi Craig,

It was nice meeting you today. You have a great set-up. That greenhouse of yours looks great and it feels like a tropical rainforest inside. I still can't believe that beautiful scorpion plant!! Great job. I had those peppers today with dinner. Perfect! I think you're right - the red Scotch Bonnet is pretty much the same heat level as the orange. I always feel that if you can find a really hot jalapeno or serrano it just feels hotter than the habs. That's my own personal reaction. I can't explain it. The red serrano felt hotter to me than the bonnet. Go figure. I'm not disputing Dr. Scoville, of course - it's just how it feels to me.

Anyway, glad to have met you. It's nice to know that there are other chiliheads right here. See you again.
