-Living in the country aka cornfields of southern Illinois, most my hobbies are outdoor. I like to hunt & fish. I also enjoy shooting guns for sport. I love camping and canoe trips w/ friends.
-I work in a restaurant where I cook. Naturally I enjoy cooking, more so w/ friends in a backyard BBQ setting where we can relax and throw back some cold ones.
-I love watching things grow, especially plants that I grow indoors year-round and outdoors in the summer. I'm new at this but I'm always learning. Most of my plants I grow to eat but also enjoy growing plants just to grow different things (Cacti, tropicals, carnivorous plants, etc). I grow vegetables including cabbage, corn, beans, tomatoes and especially chilis, etc. I've been dabbling in hydroponics & will be starting an aquaponics setup.
-Mushroom growing/mycology is another hobby of mine.
-Chilis are by far the most intriguing plant that I grow. There's just something about that heat that I cannot get away from. Even after a few bad cap cramp episodes, I still find myself coming back. I think that it's crazy things can get so hot and I'm striving to see how far it can go.
-I would also like to be able to grow many different varieties of chilis and experiment with different hot sauce recipes, salsas, and also pickling.
-I'm taking college courses pursuing a degree with something involving Biological Sciences.
-I also have a dog. He is an all-white Alaskan Husky.
