I've used a bicycle pump a few times, just pop the tip off and point the hose at the holes, works pretty good. 

Danorth, nice looking spread but I'm quite interested in the foil pouch with the wood chips, I have a Traeger Texas  but am disappointed with the amount of smoke flavor from it, so much that I haven't even used it this year, please if you don't mind, tell me what you did.

Thanks for suggesting the food mill, I found one in a Habitat Restore, works well, after soaking some dry peppers to soften them up I put them in a chopper then through the mill, sauce came out thick like ketchup and got almost the whole quart and no grit.

Thanks ya'll. I did grind some of the pequin into powder and mixed with a small batch of sauce and I believe it definitely has a gritty texture to it that's why I was wondering about rehydrating, what if you chopped the dried pods down and poured enough vinegar to cover would that work or does...

Question about  dried peppers, I know some can be ground when dried and some they suggest you put into a bowl of hot water, does this soaking take away from the flavor or heat also has anyone ever used mulato chiles for flavor and what did you you think about them if you did? Thanks, sorry I...

I found someone in my area that has plants for sale, I'm not real knowledgeable about the taste and heat levels of the plants though I know most of them are pretty hot so I'm going with flavor, here is the list of plants which would you say has the best flavor also heat, I can't get all of them...

I was afraid they may out grow the plant. Will this keep the plants from growing bigger, I ask because I thought I read somewhere that pinching early will yield a bigger plant with more fruit.

Thanks Mega, the plants are Jalapeno, Cayenne and Hungarian. they are just in the beginning stage of the bloom so they just look like little green bb's

I have a few plants my brother gave me around Easter, the biggest plants might be maybe 10" tall and the shortest about 7" there about and they're starting to grow blooms should I pinch them off and let the plants get a little bigger?,

Fataliis or Datils aren't something you can buy in the store are they, I've looked in every kind of market around here and all I ever find is Habanero, Jalapeno, Serrano, Thai and sometime Hatch just sort of common peppers, I have terrible luck growing anything but weeds and mold, well growing...
