    Jalapeno and Superhot Powder

Sorry, I should have included the amount of each that I want. I have found that stocks are sometimes limited when people sell powders so I am used to picking from what people have available. My bad.    I need two superhot powders to be an ounce or so each. I see people selling by 1/2 ounce which...

    Jalapeno and Superhot Powder

Just checking in to see if anyone has some of their jalapeno powder and superhot powder (not picky about the type so long as it is insanely hot) for sale. It seems that sellers have superhot powder but not jalapeno powder or vice versa.    Must be willing to ship to Canada.

vendor Has Anyone Had Any Experience With Pepper Joe

I really appreciate your offer, but I decided that it was fair to give new new ownership of Pepper Joe's a try again this year.        I put in the order and look forward to trying out the seeds!

vendor Has Anyone Had Any Experience With Pepper Joe

I was burned with loads of seeds that did not grow even close to true on consecutive growing seasons by the old Pepper Joes a few years ago and at that point I decided to never buy from him again.   I understand the site has been bought out and things are better, and now I am torn. I did most of...

vendor anyone ever dealt with sandia seed?

I bought a few varieties of seeds from Sandia for this year's grow, and there were loads of issues.   First, the jalapeno varieties had pretty close to no heat. We had a wet summer, so I can forgive that if it was the only issue.   I bought some yummy orange peppers so my daughter could pick...

pests Mosaic virus or Bug damage?

I was also doubtful that it was all weather related considering the extent of the damage and the fact that I have never had anything that looks like this over the course of years gardening in this climate. Having said that, it has been an unusually cold spring.   It is tough to say for sure...

pests Mosaic virus or Bug damage?

I do it the old fashioned way and just put my finger in the soil. With all the rain we've been getting the most I've done in a while is just moisten the mulch a bit without actually watering them through. Plus there have been a couple of hits of fertilizer along the way which need to get in...

pests Mosaic virus or Bug damage?

I haven't seen any evidence of bug damage on the peppers, but there is some on a few tomato leaves. There was some bug damage at the start of the year though before I got it under control. I'd say nothing out of the usual for the past 2 or 3 weeks.

pests Mosaic virus or Bug damage?

It has been down to 10-12 almost every night, and it is still dropping to 9 once in a while.

pests Mosaic virus or Bug damage?

My peppers have been a disaster so far. It starting months back when they were just starting out as seedlings. I bought some organic basil plants to use as I was waiting for my own seeds to grow, and the ones from the store ended up having white flies on them. The pepper and tomato seedlings...

    Stefan_W's 2013 Pods A-Ripenin'! Glog

You may be right about the genetics of the yellow brain. I chalked it up to that plant being the only one that was in the ground rather than in a pot, but who knows.   Happy anniversary!!! I hope you have a great weekend, and that your special day turns out great :)   Yeah, the focus on...

    Stefan_W's 2013 Pods A-Ripenin'! Glog

I finally got my computer up and running again the way I like it, plus I have been spending my evenings tearing down the garden and getting ready for winter.   The only pepper plant left in the ground is the yellow brain strain. I was going to pull him, but he exploded late in the season and I...

    Stefan_W's 2013 Pods A-Ripenin'! Glog

The OS completely crapped out, and the drive ended up being corrupted in the process. I was running dual 40 Gig solid states that were built for speed, and this is the first issue I had with them. I normally back stuff up, but of course over time a person gets lazy and I lost a couple of...
