I have a nice big Yellow Bhut plant with 30+ peppers on it, however as they begin to ripen the stems seems to be turning black and shrivled up.
Anyone have any idea what is causing this as it is causing me to remove the peppers prior to being fully ripe.
I recently read an article, and then googled the idea and it seems fairly well known.
Has anyone used chalk lines around their containers to deter ants from getting on their plants, and therefore not being able to bring aphids up onto the leaves?

I can say it has been an average year, I have some bhuts in the ground and one of them boomed with 30+ pods, and the other 3 have 4-5 tops.
Alot of leaf dropping and scraggly looking plants though not sure what happened there.

With that sentiment.. I have a yellow Bhut that while has a few tiny pods starting.. the leaves look awful..

I am ashamed to say that i did not have a good off season with the seed starting situation.
For the most part its more for fun for me as i prefer chillies and jals and stuff for picking and sauce ect.
That being said I do use A TON of fatali powder with my home made pepperoni...
Yes these photos were taken RIGHT after a watering.. and im only top watering due to a few late seedling starts.
That being said I DO turn he lights on right away after a water, could this cause my leaves to look feint and curl up ?
My seedlings have started and this is my first year using lights and my first sets of true leaves are crinkled and some of the cot's are curled.
I dont know if it is the lights being too close or too much water or??
Are they ok?
