Sorry I should clarify.  Transient is correct, the 3 peppers on the 9 o'clock position are the ones I have no idea what they are.    The peppers at 6 o'clock are Saporros, the 12 o'clock position are Santa Fe Grande cross with something much hotter.   The flesh is sweet and the heat comes on quickly

  So the white pepper on the right has been confirmed as a white hab, which is pretty alright by me, a cool pod for sure.   Now the one I need help with is the trio on the left.  They are all from the same plant, and came in the same pack of seeds as the Bhut Jolokia seeds. It is producing pods...

So that white one I have confirmed as a giant white hab,  The heat is that of a habanero and the taste is the same, unfortunately not that buttery pepper smell that a bhut has.

So, that big Bhut was picked and dried and I plan on germinating a few of the seeds to get a few more BJ's on the go , there are still approximately 7 pods that need to mature and ripen on that one plant that is confirmed a Bhut.    The remaining plants are producing peppers at a decent rate, my...

It still looks pretty healthy, new growth in the middle, and the colour is still good!   This is still one of the more inventive set ups I have seen to date!

OI was gonna say, those temperatures would likely produce some off flavours in the beer. The CO2 would definitely benefit the peppers, I am not sure that a single carboy would produce enough C02 to make any noticeable difference to the plants though.   Since beer typically drops to the proper...
