Hi,
Took me a while to post about this the BJh2 that Paul kindly sent me, but turns out this thing is a monster!
I gave it a 55L (14.5 US gallon) bucket and it just loves it. Its the biggest plant i've ever had!
In comparassing ive put the blossoming Trippaul Threat (that i sowed way too...
Uhhhh that sounds intreguing! :surprised:
How cold does it usually get there? I wonder if you have a cold streak in January/Feb, won't the ground freeze up solid?
That would mean you'd have to really bury the stems.
Let's say you bury them 15 inches deep. That would save them from...
I'll be treating the plant again in about two weeks, and I assume they will stay away then  .
For now I only have the Frankenpepper that goes under the light. The fasciated chocolate hab is just on the window sill.
I do plan to start out early in the season, with around 40ish plants...
Please do hijack the thread! This is a place to share and learn from each other. No worries man.
Your answer is actually interesting for me as well. I assumed the tape would be some much easier to work with, but I couldn't be bothered to spend the money of an entire roll of tape to do 8...
Good, extensive list!
When did you germinate the seeds, Teapeh?
Btw, Williard, you live in Cuernavaca?! The city of eternal spring, right? Should be awesome growing conditions :)
Guess the easiest way -and the most fun one- is to grow everything yourself ;).
Noticed yesterday a dozen of thrips on Frank the Pepper. :banghead: Never had those suckers before.
Gonna bomb them with Pyrethrine tonight.
The aquarium LED light (a 40cm/15inch, 28W light bar) that it's...
Hi Dr Weird,
I'm nowhere near being a professional, but here goes my 2 cents:
I prefer to underwater. The result of lack of watering is very easily visible because of the wilting of the leaves. Easy fix: water.
When you overwater though, the effects take longer to be noticed. By the time...
Ahm... no clue you should use a bag for moisture retention, Fox. It worked eitherway.
I did make sure the plant was well watered before grafting.
The tomatoes were prone to drying out right after the graft tho! A bag might be helpfull there!
I wonder if cuttings can stay hydrated long...
Too bad you can't ship those stems internationally. Would make a great pre-bonchi sale :drooling: .
So no more hay bales, but I assume you'll deff add loose hay? Or only the hay/manure combo?
Solid7, you make me so jealous with those trees.
That 5months old would equal a 3 year old plant in my climate, I guess haha.
Edit: might be my growing ability too
Thanks CaneDog, to clear that up. I'm knocking on wood while typing that the issue seems to be less now. But good to know what I can do when it happens again.
I actually started the grafting with the bare Diamond white bell pepper (i didn't leave a single leave on it) around the 16th of...
