Growing in the Pacific NorthWest Community GrowLog

There have been several yearly PNW grow logs, the last in 2017,
so @FGpepperguy and I thought it might be a good idea to start
an on-going glog for the PNW. This is a community glog, so anyone
is free to post here, whether in the PNW or not. Hopefully, this forum
thread will provide for some information sharing particular to growing
in our crazy, unpredictable weather.

So, that being said, welcome all. Don't be strangers!

Yeah, very similar, indeed.

My Foodaramas are a bit darker yellow.
 
Time to put some of the wilds I want to get totally ripe into the greenhouse.

The Bolivian rainbow has all its colors now. What a great looking plant. I think it will be on the kitchen table for the fall.
I tasted a ripe red one and didn't detect any real taste, just a lot of heat. Oh well it still looks great.

Really nice looking plant, Mr. Bob! I didn’t
find much flavor in that one either. Sort of a
‘bald’ heat. Probably would make a decent
powder, but not a showstopper except as
an ornamental.

The Tepin 'pshngo' in the greenhouse is ripening berries.

Most of the berries on the lower branches are
ripe. Many are hidden by the foliage.

The forking branches on the top half are
beginning to ripen at a more rapid clip.

The unusual 'Summer in October' has brought out the
best in most of the chili plants. Still waiting on some
wilds to start getting ripe for real.

Uvalde 'green'. Berries very large for a pequin.
