chinense anyone knows anything about swamp thing

i decided to try this pepper when i was ordering from whites hots .Being honest i don't know a lot about them and just thought it interesting pepper if anyone has tried or grown this pepper, please let me know what you thought about them.

I grew it probably 7 or 8 years ago. Was upper heat level with good flavor and pretty prolific. Having said that, being 7 or 8 years ago, it’s likely your outcome will be different than mine because of it being a hybrid and I’m sure its genetics are still quite unstable.

when you say upper heat level could you put this into Scoville units or peppers with similar heat levels ? also this is my first year growing peppers with less stable genetics do you have any general advice on growing peppers with less stable genetics?

I received seeds from Justin in December 2021 (freebie) but have never grown them. However, the description on his website has not changed since then so variations from the description/pictures is probably still to be expected.

I would say hotter than a habanero but pretty close to it. As far as being unstable, grow it like you would any other pepper. Being unstable genetics just means they may look a little different than described or expected.
