Hi Guy's
I'm playing with Asian food shop dried chillies..............again........such fun
Here's two im currently playing with the small pointy one was in a bag labeled "birds eye chilli" and the second labeled "Round chilli"
I've grown the smaller one before it grows pointing upwards has a "very long pedicel" and I believe it to be an Indian chilli called Dhani I did not like it green very unpleasant but hot a flavourful when red it had quite an open form and seemed immune to green fly when all around it were effected !
I'm assuming it's a capsicum frutescens due to upright growth habit of ghe fruit, white flower, heat, and large amount of very small seeds but I could be wrong............
The second I believe to be another Indian chilli called Boriya there is a similar variety called Mundu but I believe it to be "less round" if that makes any sense
again packed with seeds but this time HUGE ! I'm assuming its a capsicum annuum ?
Extreme size difference in the seeds but both pods packed with them !
Just a bit of fun ...............
