+1, sorry to hear you had to go through all that and speedy recovery.
Those hidalgo look awesome. They're my favorite of the serrano varieties I've grown.
And it might be about time to stop posting pictures of those baha goats. Jeez, you're going to give someone an inferiority complex!!
Thank you
@CaneDog I feel so much better this morning.

We have 2 Hidalgo serranos one inground & one for overwintering, they look so good. We had a red one so far & now with the potted one we have isolated seeds. Yess, I love it when a plan comes through.

Back in august of 2021 I grew some hot peppers, most you could buy from the feed & seed stores.
Then on september 13th my pepper growing experience changed radically.
I joined The pepper growers from around the world who live at the The Hot Pepper .COM
Getting to know you all from our post & DMs I was soon thinking in a totally different direction.
Then I met my good friend
@CaneDog & the ride began. Can you imagine? Thought I knew what hot peppers really tasted like.
I have other friends who garden. When I show them my grow list & pictures, taste test. ( see grow log below )
Most of them think I'm nuts

They may be right LOL.
I have begun asking people I meet along the path if they like Hot peppers. Many answer, well yes but I don't really like the green taste.
Unripe Jalapeños, Poblanos, habanero grocery store peppers. When I gift them with either fresh or dried, they can't believe the taste difference.
This summer we are going to the weekend farmers mkts, just to meet & educate the pepper eaters about the world of hot peppers just beginning to find markets in the US. More pepper heads growing, selling & sharing our treasures will help spread the word.

I don't know about inferiority complexes, however they complex I get when getting mystery peppers from Mommie & me is beyond crazy.
Chilhuacle Negro, Rojo, Amarillo, you know common easily found seed from Oaxaca. Right
We have been growing Organic fruits & veggies since 1972 & have never gone on growing adventures like since joining THP.
Our pepper's are growing like we're in Jamaica this season, after a cool spring start.
