  • is it possible to over dehydrate peppers? Do you pretty much take them out once the "shiney" is gone?

    I don't take them out until they're DRY. They aren't pliable at that point, and fairly easily crumble if you squish them between your fingers.
    buying seeds is addicting. I currently have around 60 varieties for to choose from for next season. But i only have room for about 50 plants lol.
    tasted my first mucho nacho jalapeno yesterday. Delicious! and proof that chile's do grow on the foggy northern california coast!

    the magic of a greenhouse! Jalopeno, Anaheim, and Serrano plants have set fruit. Even in 50-60f and total fog.
    So you spent two nights in a hospital after having a kid, and you come home to find you now have over 75 sprouts!

    I saw a thread talking about if there's a huge difference between 7 pods and scrops and now I can't find it...

    omg genius lol, found it.
    went from 19 cayenne sprouts down to 3 after i left them out in the sun too long... oops. wont make that mistake again

    just to warn you. i got naga morich seeds from them 2 years ago and they turned out to be red savinas. won't go there again. i hope it goes better for you but i'd rather stick to neil , judy and jim. maybe there better now.
