Can't wait to see what you got up your sleeve this year!
24 more days and I hit the 7 year mark and can check the NO box. Longest regret of my life so far and hopefully no more will ever last this long.
Woohoo...Phone interview for a job tomorrow. Longer drive and a dollar less per hour, but it is day shift and still workable.
OK so I have a good 2 or so ounces of Chestnut smoke Douglah powder. They are not on next years grow. Who likes Douglah?

The last 4 days with the boys and the computer off have been fun. Snow, games, airsoft, video gaming, and big fires at night. Feels good to get back in touch with what really matters. Regardless of how bad the rest of life may be, loving family is appreciated for their ability to make one forget.
52° out side and 102° in the garden and it is 10:30am. Should be around the high for today and in about 45 minutes it will start going down. Need to get in there today and harvest.

It hit 107 top. It is now 5:12PM and 73° in there. Tomorrow I will be turning the heaters off when it hits 75° and opening both ends to vent and pick. Will try to get pictures too.

It was 71° when I went out at 9PM and unplugged the heaters since it was to be mild last night. The last few nights it hasn't got under 50°. Last night it got down to 47. I am sure they appreciate the coolness
Grabbed all of this years Douglahs from the freezer and loaded up the smoker with them and Chestnut wood. Plugged it in and popped a breaker. Unplugged one of the garden heaters for 5 minutes to get the smoker rolling. All back to how it was and the smoke is rolling.

Man when they are smoked they take a whole new flavor. Made into a sauce would be like a dream I had last night.
Garden cover does not like this damn high wind gusting stuff. Drop the snow and put your hands on the car Mother Nature!!! Either that or run away like the wind.
Today's HI in the garden was 101°. WEEEEEEEEEEE

It is a slow yet steady hill. It only stays at the high for 20 minutes or so and then it starts dropping. At 71° right now
