thought that would make you giggle! harmless fun like this is good for everyone, especially after some of the goofy, hostile posts that have been made. i see potawie has been around in awhile, wonder if he just got tired? though we are both canadians, i have never talked to him(PM or other). watching a cranefly dance on my wall, no idea how something like that found its way into the house or how it is still alive in my cold!

Hahaha, posted in the wrong place and it went out on the forum! Yeah, agree - people need to chill around here a bit. Sometimes maybe just walk away for a while. I don't recall seeing Potawie on here much in past winters, so that doesn't surprise me either way. I'll tell you about my flock of ladybugs sometime.....

LOL! Actually, sad to say but most have died off at this point. I've been feeding them agave nectar, hoping at least a FEW will make it until the springtime, but we'll see. I let a few out when I first found aphids, but the aphids are long gone - I'm just a tad concerned there might be some aphid larvae that got missed and I'll wake up one day to find more on my OW's. Who knew I'd ever actually want to keep bugs alive???

i did the neem thing and it cooked a lot of my plants. i was very conservative but it didn't matter, anything that hit the leaves are crispy burnt. just squished a load of aphids off my caribbean reds. paulg just had a giggle, 2 more hours and i can change my profile. perhaps potawie did a typical canadian thing and went abroad for a month, lots of ads for south africa, brazil, india and china.

Ah, that would be nice - somewhere warm and sunny, without all this WHITE STUFF laying around. Well, the ladybugs eliminated the aphids in no time flat. I highly recommend them, unless the idea of ladybugs in the house freaks you out. Hah - so you're my age now..... how old will you be at midnight?

i'll leave the ladybirds until april/may, i tried that last year and they just fell back asleep and disappeared, probably into the furniture. temps were in the 32F today, so i sat in the hot tub, but tuesday we are back down to -6F. ladybugs don't want to play in that, even if the house is above 65F....

good point on the age thing, never thought of cheating....how about 29.... isn't millworkguy 31, how about his age?

Hmmm.... 29 is kind of overdone..... 31 works!

LOL - we should almost take bets! (Well, I'm not a betting person, but you know....) Other than Brian.... hmm.... I don't think most people look at the birthday list most of the time, but apparently some do. I'm kind of hit-and-miss with it. I'm thinking two days before you get the first inquiry. What say you?
