yesterday hit -11F, i pulled my back out exercising so i was shuffling around like an ol' man yesterday, so not much computer time. cars don't like that temp, but i had to get at least 1 vehicle going to pick the kids up from school - windchill is too dangerous to let them walk. still tender today... note to self, exercising after age 50 is bad for oneself! actually i was just d...

Sorry to hear about your back! I started running again a couple years ago, got sidelined when I broke my ankle last year, got back into it gradually, but recently started swimming as the ankle's acting up again. It's been almost a year, and part of me thinks WTF??? But yeah, this "age stuff" is no good! And dang on the temps - brrr! This is as far north as I'll ever voluntarily come. Your note got chopped, btw.

damn editors, actually i wasn't exercising but stretching, of course i can't do senior's stretching, i have to do Xtreme stretching, thus acting like i was 30. the back thing happens about twice a year, then goes away as fast as it came.

Yeah... even though I was running, using the arms while swimming just takes more out of you. But, of course, I have to push myself to swim as fast as I can - until I then have to stop, catch my breath, and let my heart stop pounding in my ears. Strangely, that seems to happen every single lap I swim..... go figure! Actually, I do small rests at the end of each, then a larger rest every 10. It's getting easier, but.....

so, what do you think, march 30 we contact many long term members and on april 1, april fools, a whole lot of members have a birthday that rings in at 100 years? that gives them march 31 to set their date.
