Can't wait to get my garden going this year. I am not looking forward to summer, as I can't stand hot weather, but fresh veggies and peppers make it worth it.
Just tried some "Wild Fire" hot sauce from Redhawk Peppers. That stuff is great! Between LDHS and Redhawk, I don't know if I will ever have a bland meal again. Thanks guys!
Just had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with ghost flakes [idea came from a thread on this forum] -- Freaking delicious!

I was trying to convince the people at work that it is exceptional, but they don't understand. My wife even tried one last night, and loved it. Though it upset her stomach a few hours later.

One of the unforeseen benefits of eating incredibly spicy foods, is that people at work steer clear of anything I put in the fridge...

Marinading Porch Chops Rancheros, drinking a Modelo Especial. Sixty degrees outside... Nice Sunday afternoon.
Even when I am sick, a good Telecaster does wonders to lift my spirits.

I have an American Standard, and also a 'Messican' Blackout Tele. Blackout is pretty good, but the pickups leave something to be desired. I just haven't taken the time to replace them yet. ;)

Seeds have arrived. I can't wait for this growing season. Hopefully we actually get some rain this year. Otherwise, it is back to the soaker hose.

What is this "rain" thing you speak of? I think my ancestors once told me about it.

Lol... it is supposedly little drops of water that fall from the sky. Rare occurrence 'round these parts. Almost as rare as snow. [White sublimated moisture]
You know, it is really hard to make chili when you have non-chilihead friends coming over. I feel like I had to neuter my usual method...

ya just make a simple chili and if you want to knock it put a touch, just add your own spice later.
Hard to find good fresh pods in the winter. Sauces FTW!

I have never tried re-hydrating dried pods... how is the consistency? Seems like they might be kind of mushy. Thanks for the affirmation Scovie! :)

Winter relegates me to store bought habs for the most part. Kinda gets boring... But better than nothing. I do likes me powders.
Just picked the first ripe hab of the season!

Getting more and more habs on the plant. Tons of Cayennes too! Already picked a few Japs... kind of hit and miss on heat with them.
I have some orange hab pods starting to show up now. Tons of red cayenne and jalapeno too!
Freeze Mentos in ice cubes... serve time bomb sodas.

Had a few bites of my first fresh superhot... Bhut Jolokia that a friend brought over. Pretty intense. :) Loved it.
I hate to use sevin dust, but I guess it is better than losing plants...

Really? I thought it was way worse than that. I must have been on some sort of hippy forum. :)

If you are growing organically, its bad because it kills the good bugs too... Other than that, I like it better than a lot of other chemicals. Just you can't use sevin, and then sell the produce (atleast according to the bottle I have).

I see. I wasn't planning on selling any. I do feel quite a bit better now... thanks guys! :)
Just built a raised garden yesterday. My dad brought over a couple of loads of soil with rotted cow manure mixed in, and filled it in. Now to smooth it out, and transplant some young plants.
