Thanks. I'm already thinking one thing I need to do is simplify. Just so much stuff in the last one that the flavors got lost, I think. I dunno. Mango, kiwi, tomato, onion, garlic, banana, pineapple, peppers..... just too much.
less is more sometimes for sure. It's great to have a lot of notes of flavor, but through experimentation you'll find that some flavors step on others, while other flavors are supportive. Things like citrus enhance the flavor of the peppers and garlic, while dampening the bitterness you sometimes get from a dried cayenne. If I were to use fruits, I'd stick with 1 for the dominant flavor - you could do a Mango, or a Kiwi, or a Pineapple. But all 3 seems like you'd lose the sub...
dang limit...was saying you'll lose the subtlety. Simplifying is a good way to get down your basic profile that you're looking for. Then expend with one thing at a time. Trial & error = best way to develop something unique. Keep at it - you'll only get better!
