We owe them a ton of money. The only asset we have to ever repay them is agriculture. This would mean Chinese control over said land in some manner or another. Needless to say this is not going to settle well with U.S. Citizens... who have lots of guns.

the best thing about the Chinese army is that they are land locked. They have no way to transport their army here for any significant invasion

i'm way more worried about our own gov't than china or any other foreign country
