And yeah.... it's football. College football. Where kids get paid nothing [except for Cam Newton].... Where there are 30 some-odd corporate sponsored bowl games just for the sake of having them. Which means more than HALF of all Division 1 schools get to play in a bowl game because their schools are getting paid. Don't ya think it's gotten out of hand?

So now I hear 3teams are considering playoff blackouts for their home team fans because the games are not sold out. They are blaming the weather and the "home flatscreen experience". No mention that the $500 ticket price. What a slap in the face to the fans. The ultimate in greed. Make everyone suffer because you didn't sell the remaining 5000 tickets. PLAH!

That's why I don't go to the games. Yeah, I love my Saints, but I just don't have a grand to piss away on tickets, parking, and concessions every home game. There's something to be said about the "Home flat-screen experience". The TV itself is a one time cost equal to that of going to one game!
