lol yes he is, 8 people in my neighborhood i am the only one with a gas push mower and have the same size yard as everybody else, and he has a lawn tractor, but would rather get out there with a chain saw to cut grass and weeds. and he teaches how to be environmentally friendly at a university

To me; it says that the whole environmentalist movement is full to overflowing with frauds, charlatans, and totalitarians.

This fact should be intuitively obvious to even the most casual observer.

You have a homeowner's association in your neighborhood, or at least a city service department? If his grass and weeds are tall enough to even think of using a chainsaw, they're probably tall enough for him to get a citation.

i agree alkhall, i just couldnt believe it, i mean i am not a tree huger or an environmentalist, but i do believe in conservation and preservation, i would never waste gas or pollute the air like that. its common knowledge!! or should be

geeme, we have a county service department, but the funniest thing is, the grass was maybe 8 inches tall. easily cut with his riding lawnmower that he drove out there on with chainsaw in hand. and cut a tree and started cutting his grass with the chain saw. and i cant say it was laziness cause its easier to get on the riding lawnmower

Cutting your lawn with a chainsaw makes about as much sense as… Hold on, I'm trying to think of something equally awkward, dangerous and embarrassing to be seen doing...

Come to think of it, I did use a Stihl 66 to "basal prune" a stand of buckthorn once. That was fun. And cathartic.
