It's typical narcissistic behavior on his part, and he thinks he can bully and blackmail people into things simply because of who he is.

I have had my own business for 20 years. It pisses me off to no end that he acts like that and resists ANY and ALL constructive advice. We are all just "haters". A-hole.

That and failing to pay back a loan that started his business would have landed him in a ton of hot water if he had gotten it from a bank or credit union

i had my own business for a few years and never did i act like that, hell i wouldnt even say the shit i have been or act the way i have been on here. just because i was afraid it would get back to me in a bad way. but i also loved constructive criticism, how else are you supposed to make your business better for the customer and earn more cash

Exactly! So long as it's honest to goodness constructive criticism, it's an obvious benefit, and shows you where you went wrong and can improve. With him though, he takes personal offense to it and takes it as an attack & accusation. Plus, the forum posts here, tend to be rather permanent, whereas on FB, he can "remove" the negative/critical ones
