Copper is best used as a preventative, not a cure. Use disposable gloves and remove impacted leaves; toss in a ziploc along with your gloves and put in trash. Wash hands well. Make sure the plants are well-fertilized and use copper to help prevent spread. Also try to keep the leaves dry.
