-Cheapo Coffee Grider
-Blender with a Mason jar screwed onto the blade ring
-WARING Spice Grinder which is what I ended up with after burning up 5 cheapo coffee grinders.

Oh and by the way, I think its called a "Morbid Pedestal"

dash, That's the way I most often use them, but the grinder's great when I want a true powder and am making a mix of spices.

Yup, star anice, Cumin, Curry Powder, bay leaves, even whole nutmegs. 5 at a time.

Shit my blendrer will grind, piston rods,camshafts,ring gears, etc.

Blender, grinder - both are containers with whirling blades. Key is number and height of blades. Some blenders only have high blades and will only really make flakes, not powders. A good grinder has both high and low blades and will powder the sh*t out of spices. A blender is good enough if you don't care about a fine powder - some do, some don't.
