Strangely enough, what everyone wowed over was just a chocolate cake. Hehe. "Just." Seriously, if you haven't used at least a light olive oil in choc cake or brownies, try it. There was much more in there that people don't usually put into a chocolate cake, but that change alone makes a big diff. Made a cream frosting for it, too. Even the cheesecake fanatic preferred the cake over the cheesecake. Score!

Reminds me of a funny story. A few years back I fried some fish, and poured the used oil back into it's empty container for easy disposal, but didn't dispose of it right away. A few days later I came home from work to an awful fishy stench filling our house. I asked my wife what the heck she was cooking, and she said "brownies!" Yeah, she used the used fish-infused oil in the brownies... LOL
