What bourbon are you using?

I was going to do tequila next, I usually get a few bottles around xmas. Do you put lime in with the Jalapenos or just the peppers? I was thinking about putting smoked peppers into the tequila.

I'm using bulliet bourbon with tangerine peel, cherries, and clove. Did the gin 2 ways, one is pear cucumber and star anise, the other is ginger plum oolong loose leaf tea. I want to do a rye and lemon peel too.

You like it spicy huh haha. Can't say I've ever had a high rye bourbon. Might have to acquire some for a taste. So you just toss in dried pods (and whatever else) and just let it sit for awhile?

Yeah fil, just toss fresh or dried ingredients into the liquor. let 'em sit and enjoy.

rye and tequila are my favorites, but I haven't tried infusing them because I don't really buy bottles of that stuff that I want to risk infusing. But Dash, I started thinkin about making a cardamom rye instead so that when I mix it with lemonade it'd be a cardamom lemonade, instead of double lemon. Or stick to the lemon rye and just drink it over ice. Ok I'll do both.

gin is great w cucumber - take your peeler and skin a few stripes on your cuke - then drop the sliced peel in the gin. My favorite is a few cuke peel slices and lime zest.
