Raisins and onions! Some people say garlic too. Acetaminophen causes irreparable liver damage. Ibuprofen is actually used for dogs in the right doses. The chocolate thing is about baking chocolate and more pure chocolates, usually milk chocolate, unless its a very small dog, won't have the damaging effects. And Xylitol, and artificial sweetener in most sugar free candies and gum is terrible for dogs. Thanks for all the concern everyone. Keep your pups safe!

I heard walnuts can be toxic to the pooches too.

Our list is growing, jeez: add avocado, green tomato, and egg white. Also, anything too salty and/or too fatty, apparently.

We definitely used to feed our family pooch baked potato skin too, and I guess that's not awesome either. All of these things grow underground or along the ground. I think I'll just block them THAT way in my mind ...
