I said sure... then I got an email with the details of the event and its going to be a 12-14 hr day at 2 locations (not including travel)... I'm thinking about just charging a ton, and either not getting the job or getting the job and making bank. Win-win.

Ha. I have been there, but it was my 3rd job when i was working my ass off to pay for dog surgery.

Well, I do actually like my job, I just dislike my current employer and the specialty niche that most of our products fall into. I get to stand around at machines all day and make machine parts out of steel and use mathscience

One temp job was a '5 minute mistake' situation. As for 'real' jobs, I had VERY funny feelings about one place after a day and a half when I really started to noticed the dismal morale and passive demeanor of me fellow employees.
