I like squirrels as a animal & as food.
I saw one a few days ago come across the road form an empty field it had buried a nut in it in there looked like a walnut clever little guys

Moruga welder, it must be a recessive trait of some kind because there is a population of solid black "grey" squirrels that lives in Wooster, Ohio. Only that area has them that I have seen. You might see one out of 40-50 that is grey in that area. You leave Wooster and they are just normal grey squirrels.
i know my friend , theres black ones here in illinois and up in wisconsin , some about 40 miles away . i live out by the river and we have a pair of white ones ! cool as shit . not true tho ,they have black eyes .
The ones we had in Ohio were pretty mellow. The ones we had in Alaska were the most annoying creatures I ever met. Always chattering, which was lovely when you're trying to sleep or when you were hunting.
