I hate to admit it, but I often plan my shopping to coincide with the closing of the meat and deli department. I figure anything close to a buck a pound for dead animals is a great deal. I score big 2~4 times a month and am set for the next while. Lucked into half a dozen 99 cent 1-lb JD maple sausage rolls a few weeks back. So fatty and evil, but OMG, the flavor! Saving it for camping in Utah in a few weeks.
