Ex-wife once saw a snake in the yard and asked me to go kill it. I went and checked it out, and came right back inside. She asked if I killed it. I told her nope... it's a blue runner. We let those live. Living surrounded by swamps and fields, you kinda want some natural help controlling the mice.

Yeah I let them live, for the same reasons. Agree about the cottonmouths too, copperheads as well.
