I had to watch my 7 & 9 year old nieces last night for an hour while at work so I came up with some jobs to keep them out of my hair, like sweeping and mopping. At the end of the night I gave them each $5 for helping out (all I had on me). My 7 year old niece comes up to me today, flashing her $5 bill, "Can I have more money?". I told her that she can't HAVE more money, but that I would find some work for her to EARN more.

Let's see, I know the bathroom needs cleaned. The basement needs swept up. Landmines from the dog all over the yard need picked up. Plenty more. I'd rather pay someone to do those kinds of jobs than do them myself.

I got kicked out of a hair salon when I was a teenager because I went off on a spoiled little rich girl. She was complaining to the hairstylist about how her father was such a loser and she hated him because the brand new Camaro he bought her was the wrong color and didn't have power windows. She used every dirty word in the book to describe him and how inconsiderate he was. I was only about 15 at the time, but I couldn't hold my tongue.

I was raised by poor parents in one of the richest Counties in the nation. (I got school lunches. and if you gave me shit about it, I'd beat you up and take your hosstess's.) I detest spoiled chilren, to say the least. Between the violent video games, horseshit hip hop, and spoilage these kids are being spoon fed, these next generations are turning into shitty people.

^Unfortunately that is very true! That is why I love Wyoming. You don't have that big city mentality and influence. Kids here are still raised halfway decent.
