TNR - No need to wait unless you've sprayed insecticide already.
PR - I found them hard to keep alive after the aphids were gone. I purchased some in the early spring when there was still snow outside a couple years ago and let them loose in the house. Even though I misted the plants and soaked cotton balls in agave nectar, they still bit the dust. At least if they're outside they can move on once the local food source is gone.
Been combatting the little green bastiges with neem oil. Keeing them in check, but our season is almost over. Next year I am going to go overboard with minions!
