You guys stay safe... Take it from a gulf coast fella. Get charcoal, gasoline, ice, and propane. That way you can cook everything that's in your freezer as it thaws out without electricity. Prepare for a week... minimum. Fill two liter bottles with water and freeze them. Use those as ice blocks, then drinking water after they thaw

Gasoline for vehicles and generators, not cooking... durrr

Thanks for the tips Phil. My pantry stays flush and I keep emergency water and about 25 gallons I gas and a couple tanks of propane on hand.
