The sun is at its highest point at around 2pm so everything is shifted very strangely. It doesn't get fully dark until after 9
Well when you are hibernating for 6 months, I bet the sun does look strange. Are you far enough north to get 24 hours of sun in the summer?
Not really but at summer solstice it doesn't really get dark, more like the break of dusk for 3 hours. A good 20 hours of daylight at least
